Amanda Carter is the owner of No Limits Dance Company and No Limits Fitness. She is trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Gymnastics, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, African, Modern and Aerial Acrobatics. She attended and graduated from a performing arts high school in Monroe, NC, Central Academy of Technology and Arts. In high school she realized dance was more than just a hobby, it became her life and passion and she knew it was going to be her career path. After graduating high school she auditioned and was accepted to Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre in New York City where she was trained by top instructors in the Independent Study Program. Amanda then landed her first audition after the program and was casted as a dancer in the National/International Tour of “Man in the Mirror”, a Michael Jackson tribute show with Spirit Productions. Amanda has been touring and dancing ever since in many different shows nationally and internationally: Spirit of Christmas, All Wheels Extreme, Twist and Shout, Happy Holidays, Steve Wyricks Breathtaking Magic, Boogie Wonderland, Rhythm and Rhyme and many different aerial shows on board Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. She has also taught and choreographed at many different studios in NC as well as NY and NJ. During Amanda's dance career, she also gained a love and passion for fitness, bodybuilding and healthy living. After gaining her passion for fitness she competed in her first bodybuilding show where she received her WNBF and OCB Bikini Pro Card making her a Worlds Natural Bodybuilding Natural Bikini Professional. Her long lifetime dream since she was a young child has always been to open her own dance studio and inspire others like she has been inspired throughout her career. Amanda recently auditioned for the TopCats (Carolina Panthers NFL Cheer Team) and made it! She is ecstatic to continue to be able to live out her dream!
